What is a Canopy Tour?
Canopy Tours started back in the rainforests of Costa Rica in
the 1970s and provided a way to study the rich canopy biodiversity.
While Canopy Tours today offer a little more thrill and excitement
we still try to constantly teach, protect, and learn more about
nature and our surroundings.
While there are many different definitions for a Zip Line Canopy
Tour out there, here's a glimpse into the ultimate treetop zip line
adventure known as CLIMB Works Canopy here in Gatlinburg, TN…
Unlike most of the Zip Lines you see around the Smoky Mountains,
we actually take you where the birds hang out high in the treetops.
From the first step onto our beautifully constructed sky bridges
until you zip onto the last treehouse platform your feet will never
touch the forest floor throughout our whole 2 ½ hour treetop zip
line adventure. That's the first thing that makes CLIMB Works
Canopy so unique, but we haven't even told you the best part
yet…
During that 2 ½ hour treetop adventure you'll get to soar high
above the forest canopy on 9 unique zip line adventures that
average over 700', flying well over a mile over diverse terrain,
cross 3 sky bridges, and just when you think it couldn't get any
better we throw in one last surprise adventure at the end. With the
Great Smoky Mountain National Park in our backyard our location is
unmatched to take in breathtaking views of Mt. LeConte, Greenbrier
Pinnacle, and all the beauty of the Smokies. While traversing the
treetops over mountain brooks, streams, native wildflower, blooming
rhodendrens, mountain laurel, diverse tree species, and native
wildlife you will see the Smokies in a way you never thought
possible! While definitely satisfying your adventurous side, you'll
also get to learn about the complex eco-system and rich history
that makes the Smoky Mountains so unique and incredible.
Our promise to you is an adventure of a lifetime, but our hope
for you is a greater love and respect for the beauty around and
within us.
